Just for Pets are a pet shop chain with stores throughout the Midlands. The business was acquired by Pedigree Wholesale in early 2018 and as part of a plan to reinvigorate the brand, m360 were appointed to produce a fresh new look that reflected Just for Pets’ passion, approachability, and commitment to animal welfare.

Brand personality

Working closely with Just for Pets enabled us to see just how passionate about pets they are. The resulting brand refresh seeks to capture this spirit, with the energy and fun that their team embody.

A bright, contemporary colour palette combines with a playful illustration style and carefully crafted tone-of-voice to reassure loyal customers and reach out to a new generation of pet owners.

Expanding the brand style

We’ve brought to life a range of cute and friendly pet characters to represent who Just for Pets caters for. From Bonnie the budgie to the brand mascot Doodle the dog, there are 22 quirky creatures ready for action.

We’ve tackled the rebrand passionately and feel our new offer delicately meets familiarity with a new energy that turns the page on the next chapter in the Just for Pets story.

Launch event

A strategic rollout for the rebrand began with teasers across social media and a website makeover.

Just for Pets Coventry was chosen as the flagship store and a family launch event invited shoppers to experience the new brand through signage, environmental graphics, staff uniforms and the family of illustrated pets.

Just for Pets reinvigorated retail environments boast clearer signage, easier wayfinding, a fresh colour palette and natural wood panelling, evoking that local pet store feeling.
