Our longstanding client Kennelpak approached us to refresh the branding and packaging for their popular Collards dog food range.
While keeping focus on the promotion of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle, we set about creating a visual identity that would get tails wagging in Kennelgate and Pets & Friends stores across the UK.

Designing the range
We’ve combined earthy colours and minimal typography to create packaging with a wholesome but sophisticated feel. Colour indicates flavour and silhouetted illustrations create a sense of atmosphere. Outdoors scenes convey the natural origins of the ingredients and also nod to working dogs – the original target group for Collards.
Collards now caters to dogs of all breeds, sizes and age groups, with the product range including dry food bags, wet trays and cans.
Through an effective brand refresh and launch campaign, m360 helped reposition the Collards brand within the marketplace, giving it more shelf-appeal against its competitors whilst helping reflect the important focus of a balanced, healthy lifestyle for all dogs.

A brand unleashed
Collards required promotional activity to improve sales across both trade and consumer audiences, and we’ve produced advertising, printed literature, POS and a responsive website.
Our campaign approach plays on the excitement of getting something new, with various dogs clambering to get their paws on Collards products. It’s safe to say that tails are now wagging for Collards!
