m360 were appointed to launch the new multi-million pound Nottingham venue. In a city with strong competition and no knowledge of The Glee Club brand the client demanded a campaign that really made its mark on the city. m360 delivered the ‘We are Glee and we’re not on TV’ campaign in support of live, quality entertainment.
The campaign plan delivered was multi-faceted, incorporating classic comms such as outdoor, door drop, press advertising and radio, as well as student specific activity and ambient media. In addition the campaign delivered social media marketing and a totally unique ‘free-tickets’ promotion that saw old, disused remote controls hidden around the city – as a quirky mechanic for giving away tickets and reinforcing the core campaign message that entertainment is better live.
