Irongate is a national business supplies company, with six service areas and an innovative online supply solution. Based in Derby, they deal with some of the UK’s best known brands including Thorntons, Cadbury, Eon, Stratstone and Vision Express. With a 40th anniversary approaching, they commissioned m360 to refresh their hardworking brand.
m360 created an identity that both unifies the Irongate brand and reflects the organisations vibrant personality, without losing their great reputation and heritage. As Irongate’s services are so varied, a ‘one size fits all’ visual approach wouldn’t have worked. m360 chose to redefine the sub-brands using three categories; Indispensable, Inspired and Intelligent. These allowed them to have strength and individuality through differing colours and imagery, while still retaining a family connection. A further addition to the brand suite was InOne, Irongate’s pioneering web portal, which received a bespoke logo and visual identity.
This project also included the design and build of seven mobile optimised websites, showcasing the breadth of the new brand.
